We have a nationwide service which shows you the most popular songs nationwide for events this year based upon computerized song requests. You might find suggestions you like for your reception, cake cutting, garter toss, boquet toss, father/daughter and mother/son dances. We can also help you with song selection if you like. Some of these selections might jog your memory for things you like.
Shelby Hoyl is your wedding dj. Shelby is an '09 graduate of L.D. Bell High School in Hurst, Texas. He is a college student and works as a disk jockey. He will arrive with professional audio equipment and backup. He will be on time and does not drink, smoke or use drugs. He will be dressed appropriately and plays music suitable for your wedding. Shelby will introduce wedding participants and emcee events as needed and as discussed. He is not the cheapest dj in town but is very reasonably priced. Shelby has been performing at weddings and other events since 2007. He is the house resident DJ at Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington and has been since 2009. Shelby regularly performs at events and nightclubs around the DFW area and is very familiar with the current music played in clubs and at large private and underground parties.
Shelby plays whatever you want to hear. Weddings are classic, timeless and are sacrements. Many people like to begin wedding receptions with dinner music and light Italian music. As the evening progresses, many people like the music to change to more dance oriented, popular and top forty tunes in addition to classic rock. A standard reception is generally four hours. Shelby can also set up to provide ceremony music if you like.
