Wedding - Shelby
$ 500 for up to four hours of programming.
$ 150 additional for ceremony music if speakers must be moved.
We also have a Sunday (when not followed by a state, federal or bank holiday) Discount for Weddings of $150.00 off the price, and this may not be joined with any other offer or discount.
State sales tax will be added to the price unless you provide us with a certificate showing you are exempt from sales tax.
Additional charges for: Outside events for protective canopies, Carrying equipment up stairs, Staging to keep equipment off dirt/water, generators, distant travel, arranging for a parquet dance floor if you desire one and the venue can not accomodate you otherwise. Time over four hours - Overtime is $50 per hour before midnight and $100 per hour after midnight. See the general information page for details.
NO additional charge for: most travel in DFW Metroplex, Lighting, Travel time, Set up time, Tear down time, Readily available standard music not already in the database. If you have questions, please ask! We work very hard to make pricing simple.
Parties and Other Events - Shelby
Pricing is the same as Weddings. We often bring more lighting and other effects to parties that many brides would prefer not to have at a wedding.
Spencer - DJ TRx House Parties, Pool Parties, Teen Birthdays, etc.
For events within 20 miles of zip code 76053, DJ TRx will provide dj services with reduced lighting (lighting is subject to requirements of larger events, but there are ample lighting effects for multiple simultaneous events) for up to five hours for $200. No other discount or offer applies to this price. Adding music not already in the database is limited to twenty songs unless other arrangements are made. Overtime is the same as for Shelby.
Lighting
We have very extensive and expensive lighting. It is included in the price and we will use as much or as little as you like. Given a choice, we prefer to bring the full lighting package as it really enhances the entertainment experience and exponentially adds to the fun. The synergy of music and high end lighting is something which really sets us apart from most of the mobile djs you may encounter. We charge prices comparable to reasonable djs without lighting and bring more to the party to give you excellent value.
Karaoke, DLP Slideshow, Video Jockey & Videography
Karaoke
Karaoke is provided upon advance request with no extra charge. Please list it in the contract under 'special provisions.'
Slide Show
We can also show a slide show of photographs on your dvd or if you prefer to email us photographs or give us a cd with photographs for us to make a montage and set it to music we would be happy to do so for you. We can discuss that and pricing for that will vary depending upon how much effort and equipment will be required. We can scan in photographs if necessary.
Videography
We have a high definition camcorder as of February 2009 and are not contracting in advance for videography services at this time, but we do expect to bring the camera and tripod to most receptions. If we do so we will likely give you a clip or two without charge. Should you then desire to have a copy of the entire footage taken or an edited copy of the footage, that can probably be arranged for a hundred dollars. But we are simply working with this to practice at this time. In a year perhaps we will acquire an additional professional video system. Until we have at least a year of experience, and a complete professional video system with backup, we will not contract in advance for videography. As we do not normally attend the ceremony, in most cases any video we take will not include ceremony footage.
